In 2011, Kevin and Diana met for the first time thanks to a bird pooping on the both of them (yes, it really happened). When Kevin suggested to buy a lottery ticket for luck, they won $2,000 that day. At the end of the year, Diana had to return back to Korea, where the two lost contact with each other for 4 years. During those years, Kevin never stopped looking for her. When he finally got a hold of her in November 2015, he knew that he wasn’t going to let her go again.
In January, Diana flew down to reunite with Kevin. As a surprise, he led her to the top of Grouse Mountain during sunset for a romantic dinner. Sitting above the clouds was a whimsical arch with blush and lavender florals, tree stumps and flickering pillar candles.
Hanging from the arch were bird cages and fake lottery tickets written in beautiful calligraphy to represent the first day they met. The two “scratch & win” tickets represents the past and the present; the first win was $2,000, and the second had her name, “Diana – Priceless”. Because for Kevin, meeting Diana was better than winning the jackpot – it was the best prize of all.
I could see that they truly did everything they could to make my dreams come true – and more.
“Karen and Kim went beyond my expectations to provide everything I needed for this special milestone. They completely owned this project and beautifully executed all the details for this beautiful sunset proposal. I know there was a lot of work in the background, like corresponding with various vendors to make this all come together, but everything was performed with passion.
From the day-to-day communications, negotiations, and logistics, Luxe Proposals created an unforgettable day for us. Their execution and coordination were flawless providing a stress-free day for me as I got ready to propose. They truly took the burden and stress off my mind, allowing me to focus on the most important task at hand… proposing to the love of my life.” – Kevin S.
