When Eddie and Lisa first went out 6 years ago, Eddie wanted to take her out to a classic movie and nice dinner date. Unfortunately, they ended up watching a bad movie (“Inglorious Bastards”), where they both fell asleep in. The movie ran too late, so all the restaurants closed except for bubble tea. So, Eddie decided he wanted to make up their first date in the best marriage proposal ever.
Lisa loves pink, and every year, Eddie would get her a different color bouquet on their anniversary. So, we dreamed up an ombré pink flower wall to represent his changing love for her, with a timeline backdrop documenting their 6 years together.
Illuminating it were silver lanterns, and an aisle dressed in assorted pink florals. A small table was set up with remnants of their first date; bubble tea and a slideshow that began with a gory clip from “Inglorious Bastards”, but switched to a slideshow of their favourite photos. After escorting them out of the room, 70 of their friends and family snuck in for a surprise engagement party.
They made sure every detail, no matter how big or small, was handled to it’s best ability.
“I was blown away by how these 2 incredibly strong minded, compassionate and caring ladies handle such a big moment in my life. At first, I was bit skeptical about how they would manage everyone’s needs; but the moment I entered the venue, I knew right away. This truly was the best proposal planning company for the job!
From the start to finish, Kim & Karen were very professional. The two would go above and beyond with my requests. I would recommend them to anyone wanting the best marriage proposal ever. You need these girls!” – Eddie T.
