When Randy let us know that he had a small window in Vancouver, we learned about Panela right away and we knew Panela would love a beach proposal. For the last 4 years, the two have been in a long distance relationship, because their schooling were in different countries. So, we focused the proposal on their long-distance love.
We replicated their first date walking down the pier, to a new dock that Panela wasn’t familiar with. We found a private nook, adorned with clocks and a custom Skype card; this signifies the hardships of different time zones, where Skype held them together during good and bad times.
On the table were an array of colourful snacks in the shape of the Olympic Rings and popcorn “torch” cones. The Olympics is extremely special to the couple, because that’s where they had met – at the Art Gallery courtyard during the 2010 Vancouver Olympics among thousands of people. Coupled with Panela’s favourite lilies and roses, Panela said YES to an unique wedding proposal centered on their unfailing love lasting through time.
Everything was personalized to the smallest detail, without being too overly cliche.” - Randy M.
“From having a really busy schedule, I really enjoyed having amazing and friendly staff organizing my dream proposal. It was neat how the partner questionnaire personalizes the proposal and creates a genuine feel to the entire event. Everything was done remotely, as I was still out of town for my residency, and it went off without a hitch.”
