Will & Anna were visiting from Seattle for a friend’s wedding. Enticed by the scenic views Vancouver had to offer, Will knew it was the perfect place for his New Year’s Eve proposal. There was no better place than the private viewing lounge of Vancouver’s first NYE Event at Canada Place.
With Will’s vision for a Winter Wonderland theme, our vision was filled with fake snow and timed lighting. In the far corner of the premium lounge, we set up a white backdrop, snow white trees, and an aisle of glowing fairy lights.
The moment Anna and Will arrived on site, the lights turned on in a sequential order to reveal the fairy tale surprise. With the New Year’s Eve fireworks filling the night sky, Anna and Will rang in the new year with a new Facebook status – engaged!
“I had browsed around and interviewed several proposal planning companies which were both local and internationally recognized. Luxe Proposals alert communications, detailed responses, and promptness demonstrated the type of professionals I was going to be working with. A detailed timeline and video footage of where to go, stand, and even propose made the execution part incredibly easy for me.
The final pieces of this New Year’s Eve wedding proposal seemed to mend together like a girl’s fairytale dream.
All I had to do was make sure not to mess up my mini-speech. Luxe Proposals worked out all the intricate details to mix into Vancouver’s NYE event staff, and even lined up media coverage to put us on Live TV. This made us publicly famous for the following few days as we walked around the city! Anna, my fiancée, was just glowing with happiness and all of our friends were more than impressed by how it all happened.” – Will K.
