On their first date, they got to know each other at a coffee shop, where they spent hours talking. After 3 years together, Andres knew that Ilse wanted her proposal to happen on vacation, followed by a photoshoot. As natives from Mexico, a beach proposal in Vancouver was a necessity.
Since Andres and Ilse was travelling with a few friends, we asked their friends to invite the couple to go sightseeing before dinner. The two loves taking photos, and the friends were instructed to arrive “late”. At sunset, the two approached a pathway lined with tiki torches and pillar candles. Just like their first date, a sweet table dressed in her favourite purple colour sat on an isolated walkway.
Sitting on the table were 2 personalized coffee mugs that read: “I want all of you, forever, everyday. You and me… everyday.” – a quote from her favourite movie, The Notebook. As jazz music serenaded their arrival, Andres got down on his knee with the sun setting behind them for a tearful “YES”.
“Luxe Proposals seriously made our wish come true. I would not have had all the small details that I needed to propose the way that my fiancée wanted. As an international client, Karen took care of the important things; setting the proposal place up, coordinating professional photography and making sure I had everything in order (like which pocket to hide the ring, so that it looks discreet).
All of my requests were met - even the ones that weren't so easy to achieve.
Throughout 2 months, we had periodic checkpoint meetings up until the proposal to make sure everything was flowing smoothly. I was impressed that everything is taken into account. And I mean everything! Weather, sunset time and direction, even which beaches would have high tide (which would ruin a proposal). We are so grateful that we were able to work with such a professional and dedicated team of experts. Thank you!!” – Andres M.
