When Kevin asked Grace out, it took place on the steps of Coal Harbour near Cactus Club. Grace is always saying that Kevin is not a romantic guy; so for their 2 year anniversary, Kevin wanted to surprise her in the place they made things official.
With the stunning Coal Harbour ocean view as our backdrop, we set up mirror pillars adorned with glowing candles. Their favourite memories from the last 2 years hung on strings of fairy lights off the railing behind them. On the ground were pink and white rose petals, complete with a full bouquet of roses. Lastly, a mini stuffed turtle doll (her favourite animal) was placed on top of the bouquet.
Upon arriving Cactus Club for their anniversary dinner, the hostess informed them that their table was “not yet ready”. To kill time, Kevin suggested that they take walk along the seawall. At the perfect timing, the sky had turned cotton-pink, with Grace’s favourite artist, Leehom Wang’s “Forevcer Love” playing in the background. Turning to her with tearful eyes, Kevin dropped to his knees to take the next step in their relationship.
My fiancée was shocked that I was able to pull off something like this. ``
“Thank you Karen and to the team at Luxe Proposals involved in planning this unforgettable proposal. We sat for hours, surrounded by lights, just enjoying the peace and view. It was a cold evening, but our passion and your services really warmed us. I would recommend you guys to everyone I know!” – Kevin H.
